Building Fundraising Brilliance

Our Expertise
Strategy and planning

To make a difference, strategies need to be used as tools to direct work, not documents to be filed and forgotten.
We’re experts in the practical and strategic planning for fundraising operations and management. We’ll help develop the skills, resources, plans and processes to make your strategy sing.

To get the best from a strategy, whether it’s for philanthropy, alumni, partnerships or supporter engagement, it’s vital the implementation and outputs stay true to the direction you’ve set. From making decisions based on evidence and insight to creating integrated tactical plans across a department, we work with teams to bring strategies to life.

Because we know fundraising, we know what’s needed to deliver success.
We work with clients to develop KPIs and objective setting, data analysis and visualisation, resource planning and meaningful measurements that keep plans on track.

Our experience in planning, insight, management and operations mean we can interrogate each element of a strategy from a point of experience. We only develop solutions that are right for our clients where they are today and for where they want to be tomorrow.

Case study:  CASE  -  the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education

In February 2017, Jennie took on the role of Interim Executive Director (Europe) for CASE, the global membership organisation for universities, schools and cultural organisations providing development, support and advocacy for those staff engaged in fundraising, alumni relations, marketing and communications.

Jennie worked closely with the Vice President for Global Engagement, Tricia King, and the London Leadership Team to manage the European operation. As well as representing CASE across the UK and Europe, providing advocacy for the sector with Government around GDPR, and stewarding key volunteers, Jennie worked with the team to develop a budget and targets for FY17/18.

Tricia said “Jennie’s approach has been just what we needed. She is strategic, pragmatic and has proven a fabulous ambassador for CASE”.

Leigh Cleghorn, Interim Deputy Director, said “we’ve loved having Jennie on board with the CASE Europe team. She’s really helped us to focus on what’s most important to our organisation and worked with us to create plans that feel ambitious but realistic.”
